UK — HRsmart, a leading provider of talent
management technology solutions, today introduced an
off boarding solution to help streamline the employee
departure process. The new OffBoarding solution reduces
security risks resulting from departing employees, allows
line management to participate in the process reducing
the human resources work load, provides metrics and
combines four functions to help companies better manage
talent and reduce turnover.
HRsmart's OffBoarding solution facilitates
the creation of exit surveys to be completed by departing
employees within days of termination. These surveys
give managers, as well as human resources departments,
the opportunity to analyse key termination issues and
recognise trends, reducing turnover.
The solution also helps reduce security
risks by tracking employee assigned passwords, security
access, and assigned company assets to help managers
oversee their return, monitor the cancellation of third-party
account access—such as HRIS, CRM system or other
subscription based services--and upload necessary paperwork
and employment history reports involved in the termination
of employees.
In order to help with the outplacement
of employees who have been terminated as a result of
redundancy, the solution includes a CV bank that is
available to other companies' recruiters, allowing them
to search departing employees' CV’s for possible
candidates. Subsequently, it provides a central location
for logging and reviewing whether or not an individual
is eligible to be rehired within the organisation.
The solution is a part of HRsmart's Alumni
portal, which provides ex-employees with the means to
stay in touch with the company and keep their contact
information, CV and other career data up-to-date. The
Alumni portal can also include links to other benefit
sites companies may offer their ex-employees such as
career and retirement management sites and others.
